G. Kishan Reddy, the Union Minister of Culture, Tourism and Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), will become the new state president of BJP Telangana unit. He will start his new role on Friday at 11.45 AM at the State party office in Nampally.
Before taking charge, Reddy will visit Bhagyalakshmi Temple at Charminar to offer prayers. He will then pay homage to the Mahatma Jyothi Rao Pule statue at Amberpet. After that, he will perform a religious ritual at Sri Kanaka Durga Temple in Basheerbagh and pay tribute to Dr B.R. Ambedkar statue on Tank Bund.
Reddy will also pay homage at Telangana AmaraveerulaStupam (pylon) located opposite the Assembly before reaching the state party office in Nampally. Once he assumes office, he will address the party workers.
