CM Kejriwal has provided Rs 10,000 financial assistance to families affected by the floods in Delhi. The government is also offering additional help to these families. CM Arvind Kejriwal stated that many poor families living near the Yamuna river have suffered greatly. Each flood-affected family will receive Rs 10,000 in financial aid. Special camps will be set up for people who have lost their identification documents. Children who have lost their belongings can retrieve them from their schools.

The situation on the ground has improved slightly as the water level of the Yamuna river has dropped below the danger level. However, there are still areas that are flooded, and efforts are being made to improve the situation quickly. CM Kejriwal held an important meeting with his ministers on Saturday to discuss the situation.

In addition to the flooding, there is also political tension. The Aam Aadmi Party and the BJP have been involved in verbal fights, and conflicts have arisen with the LG. The Aam Aadmi Party claimed that the canal connecting Hathinikund Barrage to UP was dry until water was diverted towards Delhi. The BJP spokesperson responded by blaming the water crisis on the Haryana government and accusing various entities, including the Indian Army and the Chief Minister, of conspiring against Delhi.
