The continuous rise in the water level of the Yamuna river has caused a critical situation in Delhi. Several areas in South East, Central Delhi, East Delhi, and North East Delhi are flooded. Thousands of people living in these areas have been severely affected by the floods. Roadways have been submerged, leading to waterlogging and traffic difficulties.

Notably, congestion is observed in popular places like Firoz Shah Kotla Fort, Lodhi Garden, Raj Ghat, Jantar Mantar, Old Fort, Red Fort, Jama Masjid, and National Zoological Park. The major route on ITO is particularly affected by waterlogging, making it difficult for people to travel.
