Stree Summit, A major initiative taken by Hyderabad City Security Council and Hyderabad City Police together organized a special meeting for women. They wanted to talk about how women feel safe and have power and control over their own lives. Home Minister Mahmood Ali, who was the chief guest, said that the Telangana Police is dedicated to keeping the people safe, especially to make it a better place for women to live.
Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao always says how important education is. He opined that if a woman is educated, she will help create a better society and both her family and the state will function better.
AIG Hospitals in-charge Dr D Nageshwar Reddy said how important it is for women to speak up and help others struggling with their mental health. He believes women can make a big difference in reducing the shame and negative feelings some people have about mental health. The Hyderabad police boss said that a special center called Bharosa Kendra is working hard to provide security to women. A paper about family, social media and how girls feel was prepared by the university and shared with the public. A famous actress and singer named Rageshwari Loomba also participated.
