Nizamabad: State Roads and Buildings Minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy said that the welfare of farmers is the protection of the nation and the state. Therefore, the Telangana government is committed to providing support to farmers, even in the face of challenges.
Under the Velapur Mandal, a new pipeline worth Rs. 29.92 lakhs has been installed to supply water for irrigation, drinking, and for the use of farmers in Vadde Kallu, Dharmareddy Cheruvu, and Banjanikunta. Similarly, in Mortad Mandal, a new pipeline worth Rs. 33 lakhs has been installed to provide water for Rajulu Kunta, Pedda Cheruvu, and Malakunta Cheruvu. These pipelines were inaugurated by the minister on Wednesday.
To celebrate the success of these projects and to express gratitude towards Lord Kaleshwaram, the minister performed special prayers with farmers at Kaleshwaram Jalalayam. He explained that Chief Minister KCR is implementing various programs to ensure the well-being of farmers in Telangana and address their concerns. The minister also highlighted that the state is experiencing uninterrupted 24-hour free electricity, provision of seeds for cultivation, and availability of irrigation water, which is benefiting farmers and contributing to the growth of the country.
The method of reverse pumping for Kaleshwaram Jalalayam, which supplies water from a distance of 300 kilometers through the SRSP canal, has garnered great appreciation for its uniqueness. Minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy expressed his joy for being able to fulfill his purpose by providing water for Kaleshwaram Jalalayam to benefit farmers in this region. He further mentioned that this project is a symbol of the commitment of the state government towards the welfare of farmers.
The minister emphasized that he is dedicated to working for the welfare of farmers and will continue to support them in their agricultural activities, even if it means sacrificing his last breath. He acknowledged the hardships faced by farmers in the united state and assured them that the government is aware of their struggles. He also stated that the recent power supply issues due to the fluctuating voltage have been resolved, and nearby transformer issues have been addressed.
Regarding the Congress party, Minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy stated that if people vote for them, they will face power outages again, just as they did in the past. He mentioned the recent comments made by TDP President Revanth Reddy, who claimed that there is a three-hour power supply to agriculture, to highlight the lack of understanding among some individuals about agriculture and the difficulties faced by farmers.
The minister praised the KCR government for its efforts in addressing the challenges in the agricultural sector and ensuring the well-being of farmers. He urged young people who are critical of political parties to consider the importance of supporting farmers, who provide essential food for the nation. He emphasized the need for unity among farmers and expressed his commitment to stand by them, regardless of their political affiliations.
