The increase in green cover is not only aesthetically pleasing but also has numerous environmental benefits. Trees play a vital role in combating climate change by absorbing carbon dioxide and releasing oxygen. They also help in reducing air pollution, conserving water, and providing habitat for wildlife. Telangana’s focus on promoting afforestation will contribute to a greener and healthier environment for its residents.
