TSRTC Introduces Special Bus Services for Giripradakshina in Arunachalam Every Full Moon Day
The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) has announced the operation of special bus services in Arunachalam, a major pilgrimage site in Tamil Nadu, on every full moon day. Starting from July 3rd, when the Guru Purnima festival falls, these special services will provide convenient transportation for devotees from all districts of Hyderabad and its surrounding areas. It has been decided that online ticket reservations will be available ten days prior to every full moon day, allowing devotees to book their seats in advance.
These buses from various districts will transport devotees to Arunachalam for Giripradakshina, a ritual of circumambulating the sacred hill. The buses will depart several hours before dawn, enabling devotees from Andhra Pradesh to reach Arunachalam after their visit to Lord Vinayaka in Kanipakam. After completing the pradakshina, devotees will return to Golden Temple in Vellore on the same day. From there, buses will be available to transport devotees back to their respective districts. Prior to this initiative, a special luxury bus was operated exclusively for Arunachalam, which received a good response from the devotees.
A total of 32 buses have been allocated for transporting devotees to Giripradakshina in Arunachalam, ensuring their safe return and well-being. TSRTC officials have taken note of the enthusiasm shown by devotees and have decided to commence bus services for every full moon day.
