Heavy rain in Delhi has caused waterlogging on the roads, leading to stranded vehicles and increased traffic problems. To address this issue, the Delhi police have deployed around 3540 traffic police personnel to remove vehicles stuck in waterlogged areas during heavy rainfall. The continuous downpour throughout the day has resulted in water logging at various locations, causing traffic jams across the city.

In order to keep traffic moving and prevent congestion caused by the rain, the police have been moving stranded vehicles to the side of the road. Civic officials have received complaints of waterlogging from 54 different locations. Additionally, there have been reports of uprooted trees and potholes on the roads due to the heavy rain.

The traffic police have identified large potholes at four different spots as a result of the rain. The control room has received six PCR calls regarding tree uprooting incidents. Moreover, power outages in several parts of the city have caused traffic signals to malfunction, making it difficult for traffic personnel to manage signal-controlled intersections.

Overall, the heavy rainfall has created challenging conditions on Delhi roads, with waterlogging, stranded vehicles, uprooted trees, and potholes causing significant traffic issues. Efforts are being made by the Delhi police to address these problems and ensure smoother traffic flow.
