Hyderabad, July 7: The CPI(M) state secretary Sambhaji Rao has stated that the Prime Minister should not visit Telangana without implementing the promises made during the bifurcation of the state. He made these remarks during a massive protest organized by the CPI(M) in Hanumakonda on Friday, following the Prime Minister’s visit to Varangal on Saturday. The CPI(M) alleged that the Modi government has deceived the people of Telangana by not implementing the promises made during the bifurcation. They also criticized the government for neglecting the development of Kazi Petal, as well as other projects in Mulugu and Kaleshwaram.
The Modi government has been accused of setting up a coach factory in Gujarat instead of Latur in Maharashtra. The CPI(M) questioned why the government did not allocate any funds for Kazi Petal. They also criticized the government for neglecting the development of Mamunoor Airport and a project in Gajichinthapalli. The CPI(M) further alleged that the BJP government at the center is only concerned about gaining electoral benefits, and that is why they have named the wagon unit in Kazi Petal as a national unit.
The CPI(M) also questioned whether arrests are made when protests are held against the Prime Minister’s visit, despite not implementing the promises made during the bifurcation. They called it an injustice to arrest those who are peacefully protesting against the Prime Minister’s visit. They demanded the immediate release of those who have been arrested. The CPI(M) also demanded that the protests continue until the completion of the Prime Minister’s visit.
