The next meeting of opposition parties in India will be hosted by the Congress in Bengaluru, Karnataka, as they join forces against the BJP before the upcoming lok sabha election. The Congress has also invited CM Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to attend the meeting.
In response to the invitation, AAP’s Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha pointed out that the Congress had previously promised to publicly clarify their stance on Delhi’s unconstitutional ordinance before the start of the monsoon session, but they have not done so yet. Chadha stated that if the Congress fails to make a clear statement on the ordinance, his party will consider joining the opposition meeting.
