Hyderabad: In another setback to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Maharashtra, leaders and retired officials from the party, as well as other parties, gathered before State Finance Minister Harish Rao on Thursday and joined the BRS Party. Among those who joined the BRS Party were former Deputy CM of Maharashtra Gopinath Munde, current JDP leader Omkar Abba Jadav, Jalgav JDP leader Vijay Tawar, Market Committee Chairman Sabhapati Vitthal Nagrale, former President Narayan Aba Pawar, Vinod Patil from Dhule, Market Committee member Jaganath Bawasar from Sanchalak, Jayasingh Jadav, President of Latur District Janata Party, Blue Jadav, President of Bhor Sena, and Vikas Banjara from Congress Party.

The move by these leaders and officials is seen as a major blow to the BJP in Maharashtra. It comes at a time when the party is already facing internal conflicts and challenges in the state. The joining of prominent figures from different parties into the BRS Party is expected to strengthen its position and present a formidable opposition to the ruling BJP.

The decision by Gopinath Munde, a former Deputy CM of Maharashtra, to join the BRS Party has raised eyebrows within political circles. Munde’s move is seen as a significant shift in his political allegiance and could have far-reaching implications for the BJP.

Meanwhile, Minister Gulabi Kanduval expressed her delight at the joining of these leaders and officials into the BRS Party. She emphasized that the party is committed to working towards the welfare of the people and addressing their needs.

The BRS Party is expected to make further announcements regarding its future plans and strategies in the coming days. The party’s leaders are optimistic about their prospects and believe that their inclusive approach will resonate with the people of Maharashtra.

As the political landscape in Maharashtra continues to evolve, it remains to be seen how the BJP will respond to this latest setback. The coming months promise to be crucial for all parties involved as they gear up for the upcoming state elections.
