Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President & MP A. Revanth Reddy has made serious allegations against the Dharani Portal, claiming corruption, land irregularities, and foreign involvement. He announced that the “Dharani Files” will be released soon, providing evidence to support these allegations. Revanth Reddy has also challenged Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Kishan Reddy to investigate the investors behind Dharani.
During a press conference at Gandhi Bhavan, Revanth Reddy accused the Dharani Portal of transferring properties, lands, and personal details to foreign entities, which he believes is putting the people’s interests at risk. He expressed concern that the management of Dharani is now in foreign hands, which he considers a dangerous situation.
Revanth Reddy further alleged that the Dharani portal is controlled by Sridhar Gade, also known as Gade Sridhar Raju, who is a close associate of Minister K. Tarakarama Rao. He claimed that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao’s family is involved in looting through the portal.
Highlighting the impact of Dharani’s operations, Revanth Reddy explained that prohibited lands are being registered to followers by exploiting flaws in the portal, leading to illegal transactions and layout developments. He expressed concern about British investors being linked to the Dharani portal, questioning its transparency and security.
Revanth Reddy called for the abolition of the Dharani Portal and the implementation of a new computerized land record system that is error-free and accessible to all. He criticized the state government for illegally allocating assigned lands and transferring endowment lands to pharmaceutical companies, going against court orders.
In response to these allegations, the TPCC released a land declaration manifesto during the press conference. The manifesto includes key points such as abolishing Dharani, conducting comprehensive land surveys, enacting a Title Guarantee Law, implementing land reforms, and strengthening the land administration system. The manifesto also emphasizes the party’s commitment to the Forest Rights Act, the Land Acquisition Act, and providing full rights to the poor and eligible individuals.
