Hyderabad, July 5 (Namaste Telangana): The weather department has announced that the state will experience heavy rainfall for the next three days. The monsoon has advanced towards the North and is currently at a height of 1.5 to 7.6 kilometers above sea level in the Bay of Bengal. The southwest monsoon has made progress in the direction of West Bengal, bringing heavy rainfall. The northern and central regions of the state are also expected to receive significant rainfall. Siddipet district witnessed heavy rainfall from Tuesday midnight onwards. Mudholi village in Mirudoddi Mandal has experienced flooding due to overflowing checks dams. The low-lying areas of Mirudoddi Mandal have also been affected by the heavy downpour. Doddetla Shivaram, a resident of the village, reported that the region is submerged in water due to excessive rain. Siddipet district has recorded 16.3 cm of rainfall in Toguta Mandal, 13 cm in Kondapaka, 12.6 cm in Mirudoddi, 12 cm in Dhulamitta, 11.6 cm in urban Siddipet, and 11 cm in Komuravelli. The situation is being closely monitored.
