    Heavy Rains in Telangana, Three Days of Rain in Andhra Pradesh:

    Hyderabad, July 4 (Namaste Telangana): The Meteorological Department has announced the possibility of heavy rains in Telangana state from Tuesday to Thursday. The department has also predicted rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms in all districts. The Bay of Bengal is experiencing a low-pressure system, which is causing the formation of convective clouds at a height of 3.1 to 5.8 kilometers above sea level. Due to this, heavy rainfall is expected, and the public has been advised to stay alert. Heavy rains are expected in Adilabad, Kumram Bheem Asifabad, Rajanna Sircilla, Siddipet, Rangareddy, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal-Malkajgiri, and Mahbubnagar districts.

    On Thursday, Jayashankar Bhupalpalli, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanamkonda, Jangaon, Siddipet, and Yadadri Bhuvanagiri districts witnessed heavy rainfall. Vikarabad district recorded the highest rainfall of 163.3 mm in the past 24 hours. According to the Telangana State Development Planning Society, Jubilee Hills in Hyderabad recorded the highest rainfall of 28.5 mm. Furthermore, Andhra Pradesh is also likely to receive three days of rainfall in the coming days as winds are blowing in the northwest direction in the state.

    The sudden onset of heavy rainfall has led to concerns about flooding and waterlogging in low-lying areas. The government and local authorities have been asked to take necessary precautions and ensure the safety of the residents. People are advised to stay indoors and avoid unnecessary travel during this period. The authorities have also been urged to be prepared for any emergency situations that may arise due to the heavy rainfall.
