Banking Exam Center Controversy: IBPS Imposes New Criteria Requiring a Minimum of 650 CIBIL Score, Candidates Protest
Hyderabad, July 4 (Namaste Telangana): The BJP-led central government, which had promised to provide two crore jobs, is facing criticism for imposing new regulations. The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS), which conducts exams for bank jobs, has introduced a new criteria that candidates must have a minimum of 650 CIBIL score. This decision has sparked widespread criticism among aspirants.
The Hyderabad-based Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS), which is responsible for the recruitment process in the banking sector, recently released a notification stating that candidates for bank jobs should have a good CIBIL score. This has led to protests and objections from candidates.
The government’s move to impose strict regulations for bank job aspirants has drawn criticism from various quarters. The announcement by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) regarding the requirement of a good CIBIL score for bank jobs has sparked outrage among candidates. Many believe that this criterion is unfair and unnecessary.
The IBPS conducts exams for various posts in banks, including officers and clerks. It recently released a notification announcing the recruitment of 4,545 bank officers and clerk posts (including 500 posts). According to the new criteria, candidates who have scored a minimum of 650 on their CIBIL score are eligible to apply. Successful candidates in the exams are required to submit their CIBIL score at the time of joining. Candidates who do not meet the required CIBIL score are now required to submit a “No Objection” letter from their creditors. It has been reported that candidates without bank accounts have been instructed to submit their CIBIL score. If any candidate fails to meet this requirement, their appointment may be cancelled.
Unemployed Graduates Protest
Candidates who are appearing for the banking exams are expressing their dissatisfaction with the new regulations imposed by the bank. They argue that the requirement of a good credit score for job positions is unfair. Unemployed individuals who are struggling to make ends meet are questioning why they are being denied bank loans and credit cards. The process of loan approval has become a matter of concern, as it is unclear how a good credit score can be achieved. Unemployed individuals are demanding that the government revoke these unjust regulations.
In conclusion, in recent times, the banking sector has witnessed protests against the government’s decision to impose new regulations for bank job aspirants. Candidates are opposing the requirement of a good CIBIL score for bank jobs and are demanding that the government reconsider these unfair regulations.
