Hyderabad, June 30 (Namaste Telangana): The Group-4 exam is all set to take place. The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) has instructed the candidates appearing for the exam on Saturday to bring their own pens and wear masks. It has been mentioned that watches, handbags, and purses are not allowed inside the examination halls. The surrounding areas of the examination centers are under Section 144. The gates will be closed 15 minutes before the exam starts, and candidates will be verified in six different ways.
The exam will be conducted in two sessions. Paper-1 will be held from 10 am to 12:30 pm, and Paper-2 will be held from 2:30 pm to 5 pm. A total of 2,878 centers across the state have been prepared for the exam. The commission has received a total of 9,51,205 applications for the 8,039 Group-4 jobs. Until Friday night, 9,01,051 candidates have downloaded their hall tickets.
So far, only 95% of the hall tickets for the Group-4 exam have been downloaded. On Friday, TSPSC Chairman B Janardhan Reddy conducted a video conference with collectors, SPs, and police commissioners of all 33 districts to discuss exam arrangements, guidelines, and security measures. Special instructions were given regarding the conduct of the exam, regulations, and other related issues. Collectors will have separate discussions with the 2,878 officers assigned to their districts. Collectors and SPs are required to personally verify the examination centers.
