    Heavy Rainfall Expected in the State

    Cyclone Effect Causes Strong Winds and Rains

    Adilabad district in Telangana is experiencing heavy rainfall of up to 5 centimeters due to the cyclonic effect of the monsoon winds. The people, who were suffering from scorching heat until recently, are now relieved with the improvement in the weather. Hyderabad Environmental Centre has reported that the state will receive heavy rainfall for the next two days. Adilabad, Kumram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, and Mulugu districts have been issued an alert regarding heavy rains.

    Hyderabad has also witnessed a moderate amount of rainfall. The neighboring regions of North Odisha, South Jharkhand, and North Chhattisgarh are also experiencing light showers. It is expected to rain heavily in the first week of June as well, but this time it has arrived a bit late. The farmers have become busy with agricultural activities as the fields have been soaked in water due to continuous rain for the past 24 hours. Adilabad, Adilabad (urban), Kumram Bheem Asifabad (Sirpur) have recorded 5 centimeters of rainfall according to the Hyderabad Environmental Centre.
