Siliconandhra Manabadi’s Telugu speaking competition for children took place in Toronto on the 18th of this month. Around 50 children participated in this competition, where they showcased their talent in speaking Telugu. The children demonstrated their skills in three categories: debate, recitation, and storytelling. Through these competitions, a great effort was made to generate interest in the Telugu language among the younger generation.
The winners in the Budathalu category (ages 5-9) were as follows:

The children who won in these preliminary rounds will be participating in the international finals that will be held in Dallas, USA, starting from the first week of September. Siliconandhra Manabadi aims to preserve our mother tongue and provide it a bright future. It is a platform that started with the main objective of promoting Telugu literature and cultural traditions.
Siliconandhra Manabadi Canada division has set a record as an organization that does not expect any profits since 2013. With approximately 1500 students, the organization has been working day by day to promote Telugu culture.
