Hyderabad, June 20 (Namaste Telangana): The TSPSC (Telangana State Public Service Commission) has started the process for conducting the Group 1 mains examination, which is scheduled for November. A special meeting was held at the TSPSC office in Nampally, Hyderabad on Tuesday. The commission extensively discussed the preliminary exam results, main exam conduct, and announcement of new exam dates. The news of conducting the Group 4 exam on July 1 was also discussed as a priority. TSPSC is planning to release the Group 1 prelims soon. It has been decided to give one month’s time for internal verification.

After the internal review, the commission has announced that it will release the list of candidates selected for the mains exam within two to three days. The preliminary exam was held on June 11, and the OMR sheet scanning process has already been completed. TSPSC is making arrangements to provide the OMR sheets to the candidates on their website. On the other hand, there are 8,180 vacancies in Group 4, and a record number of 9,51,321 applications have been received. In view of the large number of candidates appearing for the exam, the commission also discussed alternative arrangements for exam centers. It is also considering conducting remaining exams of Group 1 simultaneously.
