    Hyderabad, June 19 (Namaste Telangana): A heatwave has hit the coastal regions of Andhra Pradesh. The summer season, which started in the Rayalaseema region two weeks ago, is gradually intensifying. The Hyderabad Meteorological Department has announced that heatwaves will expand to several districts in Andhra Pradesh in the next three days. The Environment Department of Hyderabad has stated that there is still some time for the expansion of heatwaves in Telugu states. Heavy rains accompanied by thunderstorms are expected in some regions of Telangana for the next three days. Adilabad, Kumarambheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, and Mahabubabad districts have been warned about the possibility of heat strokes in those areas.

    With the laziness of heatwaves, the severity of drought is increasing in Telangana. The Indian Meteorological Department has reported that this situation will continue for several more days. It has been warned that heatwaves will intensify for the next two days. In order to protect ourselves from this, it is advised to wear a hat-like garment on our heads when going outside from home and drink plenty of water even if we don’t feel thirsty. The Environment Department has reported that heavy rains are expected in many parts of Hyderabad city. Adilabad, Kumarambheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet districts have recorded extremely high temperatures. On Monday, Peddapalli district recorded a maximum temperature of 44.8 degrees Celsius, the highest temperature recorded in the state according to the Environmental Department.
