The Telangana government is getting ready for a delay in the monsoon season, which is predicted to arrive in the first week of July. To prepare for this, they have made a plan to provide drinking water and irrigation to those who need it. The Rythu bandhu scheme benefit will also be given to farmers starting June 26.
The Chief Minister, K Chandrashekahr Rao, has told the Irrigation Department to make sure that crops are not disturbed while they provide irrigation water. He also said that they will spend whatever money is needed to make sure everyone has access to irrigation.
