Warangal: A police Sub-Inspector died in a road accident that occurred in Warangal district. The incident took place on the Warangal-Narsampet main highway near Harithanda village in Geesukonda Mandal. The victim, identified as Som Kumaraswamy Badradri Kothagudem district, was working as an SI in the area.
On Sunday, while driving a car towards Warangal, the vehicle skidded off the road and hit a tree, resulting in the death of SI Kumaraswamy. The police rushed to the spot and shifted the body to the hospital for post-mortem. A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway.
