Justice Sri Sudha | Nizamabad Legal, June 17: Justice Sri Sudha, a High Court judge, stated that we should bring about physical changes that occur in both men and women, rather than considering them as abnormalities. She emphasized the need to utilize various welfare insurance schemes and highlighted their economic and risk benefits. She also mentioned that transgenders hold a special place in Indian ancient history and should be respected by everyone. She expressed these views as the chief guest at the seminar on “Postal Insurance Schemes – Utilization” organized by the District Legal Services Authority in Nizamabad Court premises on Saturday.

It is known that Arjuna, in Mahabharata, transformed into Brihannala and experienced significant physical changes. History has shown us that transformations are authentic. It is necessary for the society today to accept and treat individuals who are experiencing physical changes with equality. Transgender individuals, who are talented, are actively contributing to national development. They mentioned that the Legal Services Authority is working towards changing their lives for the better to facilitate their progress by addressing their financial and social conditions. They stated that they are implementing various rehabilitation programs.
