Congress leaders, including city convener Mahamood Javeed, met with CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarkha in Devarakonda village on Sunday. Bhatti Vikramakha has been walking on the People’s March padayatra and has covered 1,000 km, reaching Devarakonda on Sunday. The party unveiled a pylon at Devarakonda fort to celebrate the achievement.
During the event, Bhatti and Javeed discussed party initiatives and the future of the Congress. Javeed expressed positivity about the party’s progress and Bhatti’s padayatra. He claimed that the party would win 10 assembly seats in the district.
Bhatti started his padayatra on June 16 in Adilabad and will end it on June 25 in Khammam. The event was attended by several district party leaders.
