Telangana’s Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao expressed sadness over the train accident in Odisha that happened on Friday night. He extended his condolences to the families of the victims and requested the State and Union Governments to provide better treatment to the injured and support to the bereaved families. IT Minister K T Rama Rao also expressed grief and questioned the Anti Collision Devices. The event he was supposed to attend on Saturday was postponed to Monday. Union Minister for Culture and Tourism G Kishan Reddy also conveyed his condolences to the families of the victims and wished for the speedy recovery of the injured. The accident took place in Balasore district, Odisha, where 288 people lost their lives and nearly 800 were injured.
