A big fire happened at a timber depot in LB Nagar on Tuesday evening. The fire quickly spread to the Intergrated Automobiles building and the CAR-O-MAN car garage. People who lived in nearby apartments had trouble breathing because of the smoke. Firefighters from LB Nagar, Hayatnagar, and other areas came to help. They tried to keep the fire from spreading more. They told people who lived nearby to leave just in case. About 40 cars in the car showroom burned up, but no one was hurt. The fire might have started because of a short circuit or a burst cylinder in one of the cars. The police and firefighters are still looking into it. The fire caused about Rs 1 crore in damage.
