    The government hospital in Shadnagar is going through a difficult situation as there was a power outage for an hour on Monday afternoon. The hospital staff did not seem to care about the patients which made their circumstances even worse. The hospital does not have a generator which is causing more problems, especially for patients from rural areas.

    The women members of the Jawaharlal Nehru Mutually Aided Cooperative Housing Society and the family members of the deceased scribes are demanding Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao to implement the Supreme Court judgement and hand over the Pet Basheerabad land to the society.

    The GHMC Mayor Vijayalaxmi Gadwal conducted an unexpected inspection of the Strategic Nala Development Programme works in Brahmanwadi, Begumpet on Monday.     South Central Railway (SCR) reviewed the safety of train operations across the Zone on Monday. The primary focus was on enhancing the supervision of freight trains and conducting frequent field inspections to ensure compliance with worksite safety requirements. Officials want field-level staff at good sheds and sidings to be sensitised frequently on all aspects of safety.

    Osmania University has increased its Ph.D course fees by ten times which has caused problems for scholars as the State government has not taken a decision over fee reimbursement yet. Scholars and various student unions have urged officials to rethink this decision.
