District Collector RV Karnan has announced that all residents who have reached the age of 18 by October 1, 2023, will be registered to vote. To achieve this goal, officials will go door to door with BLOs from May 25 to June 23 for voter registration. From June 24 to July 24, polling centers will be evaluated and improved. Changes and amendments will be made to polling station boundaries and photo images. From July 25 to 31, format 1 to 8 will be prepared, and the final draft roll will be published on October 1. Objections to the draft roll will be accepted from August 2 to 31, and a special campaign will be organized to address complaints.
District Collector RV Karnan held a meeting with representatives from various political parties in his office in Karimnagar on Monday. The meeting was attended by officials such as Karimnagar and Huzurabad RDOs Anand Kumar, Harisingh, DRDO Srilatha, as well as representatives from political parties like BSP, BRS, BJP, Congress, CPM, CPI, and MIM. The primary goal of the meeting was to discuss voter registration and the upcoming elections.
