Telangana Universities are planning to work with the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore. Prof BVR Chowdari, from the Emeritus Materials Research Society of Singapore (MRS-S), India Connect, met State Education Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy and senior education officials to discuss the collaboration. Telangana is known for being a hub for Life Sciences/IT/Bio-Technology/Pharma and other HiTech areas, and Sabitha believes the state can be the best place for Education, Innovation/Incubation and entrepreneurship.
During their visit in July, the State Universities will discuss academic collaborations with Nanyang University’s top leadership. Prof BVR Chowdari stressed the importance of a research culture among universities, and NTU promised to support the Telangana Universities with capacity building and joint research projects.
