A group of people attacked the camp office of Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, a former MP and suspended BRS party leader, in Madhira on Saturday night. They damaged furniture, flexes and flowerpots in the office. Some locals noticed the commotion and shouted at the attackers, who then ran away before the police arrived. The police have filed a report and started investigating the incident.
In another incident, Puvvada Ajay Kumar supporters attacked a Ponguleti supporter named CH Karthik in Khammam town on Sunday. Karthik had shared posts on social media criticizing Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar. The police came to the scene and dispersed the party leaders.
Furthermore, BRS leaders cleaned the former NTR statue in Khammam after former MP Ponguleti sent flowers to it. This news sparked a debate in the district.
