The Bharat Jagruti Sahitya Sabhas will hold a two-day literature discussion in Telangana on June 12 and 13 as part of the State Formation Decennial celebrations. The group aims to preserve the cultural traditions of Telangana and is active in the State movement.
During the Sahitya Sabhas, there will be in-depth discussions and paper submissions on all the processes of Telugu literature. The Telangana Sahitya Sabhas will begin on June 12 with an inaugural session titled ‘Literary Development in Swarashtra’. There will be six sessions on a topic-wise basis with speeches from well-versed literary figures. The Sahitya Sabhas will end with a closing meeting on June 13.
Bharat Jagruti will present the ‘Professor Jayashankar Sahitya JagrutiPuraskaram’ to a literary figure who has contributed to the enrichment of Telugu literature. One person will be selected and given this award every year based on extensive works, various processes, deep study, and public interest.
K Kavitha, president of the organization, announced the new award and said that Bharat Jagruti is working to preserve Telangana’s cultural traditions.
