Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav laid a foundation stone for a new multi-purpose function hall next to the Mahankali temple in Uppuguda, Chandrayangutta Assembly constituency. The hall will cost Rs.4.96 crores to build and will be completed in one year. Once finished, it will be rented out at a low price for people who want to celebrate family functions.
Minister Yadav said that the Telangana government is working towards the development of all people in the state regardless of their caste or religion. He added that the government is constructing multi-purpose function halls to benefit poor families who want to celebrate their special occasions without spending too much money.
The Minister also mentioned that the BRS government, led by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, is implementing welfare and development programs for all sections of society, which he believes no other government in the country is doing.
MLC Prabhakar Rao, Corporators Abdul Sameed and Saleem Baig, and others attended the event.
