    The District Collector of Khammam, VP Gautham, has urged people who have built homes on government land to take advantage of the regularisation process. The government has undertaken this process through GO 58 and 59. During his visit to Jalagam Nagar, Jawahar Nagar and Thalakapudi Colonies in Satthupalli mandal, the Collector explained the benefits of regularisation to applicants and warned that they would miss out if they did not take advantage of this opportunity.

    The Collector informed people that 1,361 applications have been approved in Kallur Division under GO 58, 59. The government is now demanding payment of its minimum land price after regularisation. He emphasized that those who make payments will enjoy all rights provided by the government. He also urged bankers to provide loans for construction and other needs.

    Officials are currently visiting the field and creating awareness about demand payment. The Thasildhar and Municipal Commissioner will jointly visit the field and pay special attention to demand collection. The Collector warned that appropriate action will be taken against those who are squatting on government lands without paying the demand.

    During his visit, Kallur RDO CH Suryanarayana, Sathupalli Tehsildar Srinivasa Rao, Commissioner Sujatha, MPDO Subhashini, officers, and others were present.
