    The district police in Khammam will take action against traders who sell fake seeds to farmers. This is to prevent farmers from losing money. The Commissioner of Police, V Satyanarayana, said that the PD Act will be used on those who sell fake seeds. The police have set up special task force teams to check for fake seeds in the district.

    The State government has given guidelines to stop the sale of fake seeds. Inspections will be carried out at check posts on the district borders, and task force teams will be in the field to prevent the sale of fake seeds. The police are keeping an eye on old criminals and will use the PD Act if needed.

    Some brokers trick farmers into buying fake seeds at cheap prices. However, the government is taking measures to arrest these brokers. The police and Agriculture departments will work together to inspect the district at different levels. They will set up surveillance to catch criminals selling fake seeds and keep them under watch.

    The government’s guidelines say that they need to pay attention to expired seeds, those sold without a license, and those who have a license in one area but sell elsewhere. The police are also cracking down on illegal smuggling of alcohol using technology.
