The State government in Hyderabad is extending its health services by adding 14 more Basti Dawakhana clinics to the existing 153 state-run clinics. These clinics are located in Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) limits and in Hyderabad district. The Minister for Animal Husbandry, Talasani Srinivas Yadav, has inaugurated two new clinics in Gunfoundry and Jambagh. Local leaders were also present at the inauguration.

Minister Yadav has stated that Basti Dawakhana clinics have seen a good response and that the number of patients visiting main hospitals like Gandhi and Osmania has decreased since the clinics’ launch. The clinics offer free, high-quality health services to the people in their own locality.
