On Tuesday, MLA V Sathish Kumar laid the foundation stone for development works in Chigurumamidi mandal in Husnabad constituency. The MLA stated that under Chief Minister KCR’s rule, all villages in Telangana are progressing. The MLA laid the foundation stone for a road to be built from Lambadipalli to Mudimanikyam village costing Rs 33.50 lakh, Vaikunthadam at Chigurumamidi costing Rs 12.60 lakh, Fishermen Co-operative Society building at Raykonda village costing Rs 10 lakh and Vaikunthadam at a cost of Rs 12.60 lakh.
Sathish Kumar praised the government’s objective of rural development and the large amount of funds being spent to achieve this goal. Telangana is the only state in India where basic facilities such as a nursery, Vaikunthadam, Palle Prakurthi Vanam, segregation shed, dumping yard, sports ground and facilities like a tractor, trolley and tanker are provided to every village.
Furthermore, farmers receive Rs 10,000 per acre investment assistance under Rythu bandhu, Rs 5 lakh Rythu Bima if they die, Rythu Vedikas, 24-hour free quality electricity and Rs 100116 for poor girls through Kalyan Lakshmi and Shadimubarak schemes.
