Union Minister Anurag Thakur has asked the protesting wrestlers to stop their protest and trust in law and order. He explained that the Supreme Court had intervened and the Delhi Police were taking statements. The Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) ad hoc committee now has complete control of the organization based on a formal order from the Indian Olympic Association (IOA).

Thakur explained that the committee was formed, and their concerns were heard. An ad-hoc committee has been formed to start the day-to-day working of the Wrestling Federation by the IOA. Trials have also started for athletes.
