A group of terrorists caused concern in Hyderabad and were caught in a joint operation by Bhopal ATS and Hyderabad Counter Intelligence. Six of the 17 arrested were from Hyderabad and were linked to the Hizb-ut-Tahreek terrorist organization. The terrorists had planned simultaneous attacks in different parts of India, including Madhya Pradesh and Hyderabad. The five people arrested in Hyderabad appeared in court in Bhopal and were remanded in custody until the 20th of the month. The police are still searching for Mohammed Salman of Shivaji Nagar, Jawahar Nagar, who escaped from them.
