The State BJP vice-president and former MLA NVSS Prabhakar criticized the State government for appointing retired IAS and IPS officers as advisers, calling it a waste of public money. He said that these appointments are unproductive and not useful to improve department administration or help people. Prabhakar also alleged that these bureaucrats were chosen to help expand the BRS party in other states and criticized the political appointments of former IAS and IPS officials, which he said was an affront to serving bureaucrats in Telangana.

Prabhakar specifically questioned the appointment of former Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar as the chief adviser to Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, stating that it falls under a similar category. He also criticized the recent appointment of BRS leaders as chairmen of some corporations despite the State’s poor financial position.

Prabhakar said that if his party comes to power, they will cancel all political appointments, including advisers, and review all decisions made by the KCR government in the last six months. He also criticized KTR, saying that he is too focused on Twitter and not adequately addressing municipal administration issues.
