    In the IPL match 53 between Kolkata Knight Riders and Punjab Kings, KKR won by 5 wickets. Rinku Singh hit a last-ball boundary to secure KKR’s victory and keep their hopes of making the playoffs alive. Nitish Rana scored a half-century and Andre Russell provided support to chase down Punjab Kings’ total of 179. Varun Chakravarthy took 3/26 to restrict Punjab Kings to a below-par score.

    In the IPL points table, Gujarat Titans maintain the top spot, with Faf du Plessis holding the Orange Cap for the most runs. Mohammed Shami of Gujarat Titans leads the Purple Cap list for most wickets.

    Orange Cap holder Faf du Plessis has scored 511 runs in 10 matches with an average of 56.78. Yashasvi Jaiswal of Rajasthan Royals is in second position with 477 runs in 11 matches with an average of 43.36. Shubman Gill of Gujarat Titans occupies third position with 469 runs in 11 matches with an average of 46.90.

    Purple Cap holder Mohammed Shami of Gujarat Titans has taken 19 wickets in 11 matches with an economy of 7.23. Rashid Khan of Gujarat Titans is in second place with also 19 wickets in 11 matches but with an economy of 8.09. Tushar Deshpande of Chennai Super Kings is in third position with again 19 wickets in 11 matches with an economy of 10.33.
