    The Telangana Medical and Health Recruitment Board has announced the selection of 1,442 assistant professors for the Health department. They will be posted in new medical colleges in the state. The selection was based on merit, and candidates will be appointed to their preferred medical colleges. The Health Minister congratulated the board for completing the placement process in just five months and praised their commitment to transparency and diligence in handling candidate concerns.

    The appointment of assistant professors aims to extend specialized medical services to remote areas and strengthen medical education. The ongoing recruitment process for 5,204 staff nurse positions is being conducted through a transparent online examination system. The newly selected assistant professors will enhance medical services in the newly established medical colleges.

    The Health Minister has directed the Director of Medical Education to expedite the counseling process, complete it within two weeks, issue appointment letters promptly, and facilitate a smooth transition for the newly appointed faculty members. He encouraged medical staff to deliver high-quality medical services to the people of Telangana and demonstrate unwavering dedication and commitment to public health.
