The BJP in Telangana is planning to organize protests today against the Congress party’s Karnataka unit. They will be reciting Hanuman Chalisa, a Hindu prayer, before Congress offices and leaders’ homes. The reason behind these protests is the Congress party’s announcement in its election manifesto to ban Bajrang Dal, a right-wing Hindu organization. The BJP chief in Telangana, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, has called this a move against Lord Hanuman and Hindus across the country. He has urged party cadre to join the protests and recite Hanuman Chalisa wearing saffron scarves. They plan to hold peaceful protests at 11 am today.

Bandi Sanjay Kumar said that Bajrang Dal fights for the protection of Hindu dharma and cows. He has called the ban on Bajrang Dal an outrageous act and warned that if it is not stopped, Telangana may also ban it. He has criticized the Congress party for its anti-Hindu stance and has dubbed it “Hindu Drohi.” He has also asked protestors to continue reciting Hanuman Chalisa if the police try to arrest them.
