Nava Limited, a company based in Paloncha, has given medical equipment to the Primary Health Centre in Yerragunta, which is in the Kothagudem district. The equipment includes adjustable beds, a drinking water unit and wheelchairs, among other things. The company gave this equipment as part of its CSR activity. This will help to improve the quality of medical care that patients receive at the health centre.
The DMHO Dr JVL Sirisha was present at the programme on Tuesday where the equipment was handed over to the medical officer at the health centre. The company has provided similar support in the past, including setting up a central oxygen supply system at Paloncha Government Area Hospital and a drinking water unit at Mata Shishu Kendra in Ramavaram.
Other people who attended the event included Deputy DM&HO Dr G Srukutha, medical officer Priyanka, Nava Limited general manager (production) N Suresh Chandra, and chief administrator D Shyamsunder.
