Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, a Congress leader, is going to Hyderabad on May 8 to speak at a public meeting about the problems of unemployed people in Telangana. She will be coming from Karnataka, where she is campaigning for the May 10 Assembly elections. The meeting will be held at Saroornagar grounds, and the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) is making arrangements for it.
The Congress party is getting ready for the upcoming Assembly elections in Telangana, and Priyanka Gandhi’s meeting is part of their efforts to get into poll mode. The meeting is expected to strengthen the Congress party’s ongoing statewide movement over the problems of unemployment following the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) exam paper leak. Protests have been held in Nalgonda, Khammam, Adilabad, and other places as part of the state Congress’ activities on unemployment and the TSPSC paper leak issues.
State Congress President and MP A Revanth Reddy said they will also explain what his party is going to do for the youth after coming to power at the Centre and in the state. The Congress party has been demanding that the TSPSC question paper leak case be investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), but currently, the special investigation team (SIT) of Telangana Police is probing the case.
