    A baby was kidnapped from her mother while they were sleeping on a footpath at a hospital in Hyderabad. The police found the suspects after viewing CCTV footage and identified them as Jyothi and Vikas Kumar. They were heading towards a toddy compound in Falaknuma. The baby was returned to her parents by the Women and Child Welfare Department’s Childline.

    The mother, Swati, lives on footpaths and earns money by asking for alms. When she woke up, she realized that her baby was missing, and she alerted the police. The Afzalgunj police checked CCTV footage and found that a woman and a man had taken the baby. They boarded a TSRTC bus and went to Falaknuma.

    The police arrested Jyothi and Vikas Kumar, who were planning to sell the baby. The Afzalgunj police have started an investigation and requested the public to contact them with any information about the kidnappers.
