The Centre has approved the construction of a new railway line from Karimnagar to Hasanparthy, which had been pending for many years. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has ordered officials to re-survey and submit a report on the construction of the railway line within two weeks. After receiving the report, a decision will be made on funds and construction start date. BJP State President Bandi Sanjay Kumar met with the Railway Minister in New Delhi and handed over a petition regarding the railway line’s construction. He also requested a station be established in Komaravelli. The 62km railway line’s construction would greatly benefit the people of the joint Karimnagar and Warangal districts. Based on the Railway Department’s report, work will begin next month. Bandi Sanjay thanked Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav for assuring the railway line’s construction.
