In the first match, Punjab Kings chased down the target of 159/8 set by Lucknow Super Giants with three balls to spare. KL Rahul scored 74 off 56 balls for Punjab Kings, while Sikandar Raza scored 57 and Matthew Short chipped in with 34. Yudhvir Singh, Mark Wood, and Ravi Bishnoi took two wickets each for Lucknow Super Giants.
In the second match, Royal Challengers Bangalore won against Delhi Capitals, who lost their fifth match in a row. RCB posted 174/6 with Virat Kohli scoring a fifty, and Delhi Capitals could only manage 151/7 in response.
Punjab Kings’ Shikhar Dhawan holds the Orange Cap with 233 runs, while Mark Wood of Lucknow Super Giants holds the Purple Cap with 11 wickets from four matches. Rajasthan Royals are at the top of the points table, followed by Lucknow Super Giants, Gujarat Titans, and Punjab Kings. Royal Challengers Bangalore are seventh, and Delhi Capitals are at the bottom without any wins.
