AAP MP Sanjay Singh accused the Enforcement Directorate of creating false cases under political pressure. He claimed that the agency obtained false statements from people under duress in the Delhi excise policy case. Singh said he would bring the issue before the privilege committee of Parliament and showed medical certificates of the petitioner who had complained against the ED. He also alleged that some people who are not ED officials have been part of the agency’s investigation process. The Aam Aadmi Party staged a protest outside their party office, alleging that false cases were framed against their leader Manish Sisodia.
