    Two women who worked for a program called MGNREGS drowned in an irrigation tank in Dhonipamula, Nalgonda district. They were identified as Chiluka Ramalingamma (60) and Sura Lakashamma (62). They went into the tank to wash their hands and legs but didn’t know how deep it was and slipped into the water. Other female workers tried to save them but they couldn’t be saved. The police are investigating and their bodies were taken to the hospital for an autopsy.
