While some experts believe that mankadding goes against the ‘Spirit of the Game’, Bhogle slammed those people for not supporting it in this case. Stokes suggested a rule change where the batting team gets a 6-run penalty if the non-striker leaves his crease early, which Bhogle respected and offered to discuss further in person.
